    Input Shaft:

    Working Principle

    The working principle of the RV precision cycloidal pin reducer is based on the meshing transmission between the cycloidal gear and the pin gear, combined with the conversion of motion forms by the eccentric mechanism and the output mechanism. The specific working process can be divided into the following three steps:

    1. Motion Conversion by Eccentric Sleeve: When the input shaft rotates under the drive of the power source, the two eccentric sleeves with a phase difference of 180° installed on the input shaft also rotate synchronously. Due to the eccentricity of the eccentric sleeve, it pushes the two cycloidal gears meshed with it to perform reciprocating swing motion. The phase difference of 180° between the two eccentric sleeves ensures that the centrifugal forces generated by the swing of the two cycloidal gears cancel each other out, reducing the vibration of the reducer during operation.
    2. Speed Reduction by Meshing of Cycloidal Gear and Pin Gear: The cycloidal gear swings under the drive of the eccentric sleeve, and its tooth profile meshes with the pin teeth on the pin gear housing. Since the number of pin teeth on the pin gear housing is more than the number of teeth on the cycloidal gear, when the cycloidal gear swings once, it will rotate a certain angle relative to the pin gear housing in the opposite direction of the input shaft rotation. This meshing motion realizes the primary speed reduction, and the reduction ratio is closely related to the number of teeth of the cycloidal gear and the pin gear.
    3. Power Output by Output Mechanism: The cycloidal gear is connected to the output mechanism through the pin shaft or roller. When the cycloidal gear performs the combined motion of swing and rotation, it drives the output mechanism to rotate uniformly through the pin shaft or roller. Finally, the output mechanism outputs the reduced-speed rotational motion and amplified torque to the working machine, completing the entire transmission process.
